Mock-up of the planned Retainersdesk Notion workspace: a Clients table with sample clients showing monthly retainer, an hours used vs. sold bar, a green, amber or red status, the next deliverable and a due-this-week day

Mock-up · planned layout, not final. Sample data, fictional clients.

Where agency admin slips

Retainer hours run over quietly. By the time the invoice goes out, the month is already lost margin.

Campaigns live in one tool, deliverables in another and client notes in a third, so the weekly status call starts with a search.

Big agency OS bundles hold everything except a plain view of which client is over, under or on track this month.

Many templates arrive empty, so setting them up takes an evening of guessing.

What the template will hold

You add each client with the retainer you sold. Time and deliverables are logged against it, and the dashboard shows who is on track, who is burning hours too fast and what is due this week.

  • Linked databases for clients, retainers, campaigns, deliverables and notes
  • A retainer view: hours used against hours sold, projected to month end, with a green, amber or red status
  • A 'due this week' board of deliverables across all clients
  • A client report page you can share read-only
  • A worked example agency filled in, so you see every view in use
  • A walkthrough video of the set-up and a one-page start guide

Questions

Is the template available?

Not yet. Retainersdesk is pre-launch. This page checks whether agencies want it before it is built. Reserving only counts your click; no payment details are asked for and nothing is charged.

When does it launch and what will it cost?

The planned launch window is January 2027. The planned launch price is $49, one-time. Reserving now is free and no payment is taken today.

What happens when I press reserve?

After one short question, the reserve button counts your click and shows a page that says the template is not available yet and that nothing was charged. This page collects no e-mail address, so it cannot tell you when the template is ready.

Does it track time or send invoices?

It holds the hours you log and compares them with the retainer. It does not run a timer and does not send invoices; you keep your time tracker and invoicing tool.

Which Notion plan do I need?

The plan is that it works on the free Notion plan; sharing with a team needs a Notion team plan. Notion is a trademark of its owner; this template is not made or endorsed by Notion.

Who is behind this?

Retainersdesk is a planned template product of Bardach Technologies LLC, a Wyoming company. Contact: [email protected].
